Patent permit: To obtain the Municipal Patent for the first time, you must go to the Rent Office of the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Esmeraldas Canton, presenting the following documents 1) Form for the Patent 2) Copy of the constitution of the company, in the case of legal persons 3) Copy of the Appointment of the updated Legal Representative
4) Commerce registration issued by competent authority. 5) Copy of the updated Fire Department permit. 6) Lease contract in case of not owning own premises. 7) Certification of qualification granted by the National Artisan Board. 8) Certificate of not owing to the municipality. 9) In the case of individuals or legal entities that keep accounts, they must present the financial balance and / or the declaration of the income tax of the previous year. 10) Present environmental certification granted by the Environmental Management Unit of the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Esmeraldas Canton. 11) Inspection report granted by the Environmental Management Unit if the case merits.
